Helen O'Dwyer Lisacki

Nicole was a dancer at the O'Dwyer School for over 10 years.  She attended Villanova University for her undergraduate degree and went on to complete a graduate program at Emerson.  After graduating, she came back to O'Dwyer to teach!  She now works as a pediatric speech pathologist in Boston.  She loves working with all of the dancers at O'Dwyer!

Shane started teaching at O'Dwyer in 2006 after dancing competitively with the school since it opened.  Dancing has brought him places all over the world, established life-long friendships, and enriched so many parts of his life.  It has fostered his interest in music, inspiring him to learn multiple instruments.  The complexity and precision in Irish Dance enhanced his understanding of math leading him to graduate from UMass Amherst with a Bachelors in Math.  Now, dancing offers him relief from the corporate world of insurance and a "sanity check" on what really matters in life when things get chaotic.  He'll be delighted if he's able to impart a fraction of what he learned over his dancing career to the next generation of O'Dwyer dancers.
